    Description

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Operative with a general building and roofing background to join our Property Services team. This varied role involves carrying out repairs, maintenance, and modernization works to all properties, as well as supporting colleagues across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Carrying out building work relating to responsive repairs, voids, cyclical, and modernization works allocated by the Resource Planner.
    • Performing multi-skilled works including electrical, plumbing, tiling, plastering, and joinery tasks to all properties in accordance with priorities and policies.
    • Providing safe usage and supervising the use of machinery, including basic maintenance and inspections, as required.
    • Attending and participating in training, learning, and personal development events as needed.
    • Taking part in our client's out-of-hours rota (generally no more than 1 in every 10 weeks).

    Requirements

    • A City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in a related field.
    • Experience in building and joinery, particularly maintenance, repair, and modernization to properties.
    • Good customer service skills.
    • A clean driving license.
    • Comfortable working on a mobile job allocation device.

    Salary and Benefits
