K&D are delighted to be working with a client based in Waltham Cross, who are looking for a Head of Logistics to work within their exisiting management team

The background & skills the client requires?

O Licence Holder, 3PL experience, Multi-site background preferred.

Previous experience working within logistics and supply chain. Food distribution background.

Global International Company. Significant experience leading physical operations in a high-growth or scaling environment

You'll know how to motivate, coach, and develop.

Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, while also showing exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

Data driven with examples of having used insights to steer decision making regarding complex business problems (strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets).

Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to design and implement strategies that drive business results in a structured manner.

Ability to quickly move from high-level conversations into detailed operational discussions to drive business execution.

Have experience working in a similar role, dealing with drivers on a daily basis.

Proven track record in process improvement in Cost, OTIF and Driver Engagement.

Have strong knowledge of all relevant transport legislation and be able to hold the O' licence

Have an awareness of planning software

Be a strong people manager

Have strong passion for the role and drive to make change, experience working in a a start-up
