Here at Kingston College, we are now seeking a Lecturer in Engineering (Electrical Engineering).


The focus of this role is to teach both HE and FE vocational courses related to Engineering, predominantly on vocational Level 2 & 3 programmes.

The specific required areas of engineering are Level 2 & 3 programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical& electronic principles, Industrial Process Controllers and electrical machines, although offering other engineering areas up to Level 5 would be an advantage (microcontrollers, electronics).


With high personal standards and expectations, you will have the ability to use new technologies to enhance teaching and have an awareness of academic quality standards.

With good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills, you willhave strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively as an individual as well as in a team to achieve targets.


The benefits package includes generous annual leave of 37 days plus up to 7 additional days over Christmas/New Year as well as an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave to enhance employees' physical and mental health.

This leave is all in addition to Bank Holidayentitlement.
