IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?

The Technical Lead will have responsibility for creating the technical specifications which the development team will utilise in order to provide detailed and comprehensive technical procedures related to product development across Foods Connected's product offerings.

As a senior member of our Product team you will also ensure new approaches to documentation and following procedures related to the defined SDLC is followed in collaboration with the Product Team, Architectural Team and Development Team.

As Foods Connected is scaling up the evolution of the documentation for our product offerings has had to evolve and this role will have an aspect of communication and implementation of new procedures across a team of developers from Graduate to Lead and Architect level.

A technical appreciation of the issues they can face and understanding of our evolving tech stack will be essential in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In partnership with the Development team you will develop an in depth understanding of our Tech Stack and keep up to date with new evolutions of the product in its testing phase.
Deliver detailed documentation for the systems across the Foods Connected platform which will be used by the development team and help their understanding of it.
Develop a high level overview of individual systems to enable the development team get up to speed if exposed to the system for the first time.
Create quick reads designed to help the development team assess emergency situations.
Deliver model definitions designed to help the development team and external developers work with our APIs.
Collaborates with Customer Support and Implementation teams to update the documents taking into account resolution of issues and bugs identified in testing and production support.
Consults with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 3 years' relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

4+ years' experience in a Senior Software Development role where you have contributed to and written Technical Specifications

Experience Required:

To perform this job successfully, the_ Technical Lead _should have experience with:

Strong technical background with a track record of hands-on experience building SaaS solutions.
Demonstrated experience with Agile development practices.
Demonstrated experience creating technical specifications which have been utilised by Software Development teams.
Exceptional written and presentation skills.
Languages: C#, JavaScript, JSON, and SQL Server
Frameworks:NET
Frontend: JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components and JavaScript libraries
Relational Databases: MySQL
