UK Employee No.2that's what you'll be in joining this innovative & entrepreneurial group of niche Manufacturing businesses as they look to supplement their existing presence in the UK with the creation of a brand new, purpose built, state of the art manufacturingfacility based in Deeside, Flintshire.

Joining the business as UK Finance Director (FD), you're getting on board at an exciting part of their story.

Long established in their marketplace with a strong foundation from their HQ & various facilities across Northern Europe (c€300m p.a.), the UK businesshas plans to be manufacturing at capacity by the end of 2024.


This is a new site, as FD you'll be responsible for all financial matters relating to the newly formed UK entity - throughout the construction of the new facility, to initial early stages of production & staffing levels, through to ongoing regular reporting& strategic planning for the UK business.

Including; general ledger activities/management, all management & statutory reporting / control / governance (full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility), Budgeting & Forecasting, Capex, BoM, payroll etc.

The UK FD will also be highly IT literate, managing a small IT team and responsible for overseeing the implementation & development of a major ERP system (e.g. SAP).


Given the ambitious growth plans in place it's recognised that the UK FD will be a natural leader, with the ability to recruit, build and lead, a diverse team of staff through a demanding & challenging period of growth.

Previous experience within a manufacturing/ production environment and working within a group of International companies will also be advantagous.
