Domestic Assistant (12 hours per week: Thursday and Friday)

Job Purpose and Aim

To provide, create and maintain an environment which promotes a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for residents and staff to work in.

The domestic cleaner is part of a motivated team which play a crucial role in ensuring everyone who comes to Lincolnshire House receives a positive first impression of our residential home.

Key Responsibilities
Infection prevention and control.

Clean all frequently touched pointed, these are all listed.

To undertake cleaning duties in areas as per cleaning rotas.

This is not intended to be a complete and full list of responsibilities; other tasks may be required from time to time.

To report maintenance issues immediately e.g. broken equipment and remove from use.

To be responsible for the cleaning of equipment e.g. cleaning trolleys to be left clean after every day.

To clean communal areas in Lincolnshire House including cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, and any other tasks needed to maintain a safe and clean environment.

To work within the relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

To attend training courses in house as identified and agreed for appropriate development.

To comply with current legislation concerning infection control.

To ensure the appropriate recording and check list are completed at the end of the day.
