The Role
As Group Financial Accountant you will report into the head of the department and will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintain and improve the financial accounting capability of the company giving confidence to the team's stakeholders regarding integrity of financial reporting
  • Coordinate monthly accounting and reporting cycle for P&L, Cashflow and Balance Sheet
  • Produce monthly reports and analysis as required to meet the demands of Senior Management
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain a technical expertise to ensure global taxation (direct & indirect) is managed efficiently but in compliance with laws in all relevant jurisdictions
  • Management of the Team's fixed asset register, depreciation policies and associated accounting
  • Management and reporting of the Team's lease accounting
  • Be the technical expert on all Financial Accounting matters, using external advisors as required

The Requirements

  • Must be able to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Good organisation and time management skills are essential to this role
  • CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW qualified
