We're looking for a Dedicated, Hardworking and Resilient Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Team located at our Head Office in Westminster

This role is split equally between management accounts and supporting new business to model new services.


You will assist Lookahead managers in their budgetary control and management responsibilities by preparing monthly management accounts, analysing variances, and compiling the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts.

The FBP will work alongside Senior Finance Business Partner and Operations Managers providing relevant, effective, and timely performance analysis and strategic decision-making support.


You will also work alongside the Directors & Heads of Operations and Business Development Directorate to provide financial support in the form of cost modelling for extensions, uplifts, and new bespoke or tendered services.

What you'll do:


Business Partnering

  • Regular meetings with key stakeholders in monitoring contract performance and agree actions to address poor performing contracts
  • Working with operational budget holders to reprice service models for contract negotiations
  • Financial analysis and scenario modelling to ensure services perform to budget
  • Management and development of KPI reporting
  • Adhoc Financial supportBudgetary Control
  • Coordination of budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Assist Landlord Services Team with the annual rent and service charge increase processes
  • Review and challenge budget and forecast assumptions
  • Understand and report on key trends, risks and opportunities.

Management Reporting

  • Prepare and distribute monthly salary reports to budget holders
  • Post relevant accrual and prepayment journals on a monthly basis
  • Prepare and distribute monthly management accounts to SMT and budget holders on a timely basis
  • Review trends, analyse variances and highlight risk with Budget holders
  • Investigate and resolve any issues raised by Budget holders
  • Reconcile relevant balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis including accrual and prepayment control accounts
  • Process overhead apportionments Business Development
  • Work closely with Business Development and other key stakeholders to develop and maintain sustainable pricing models for care and support contracts for use in business development and tender responses under pressure of tight deadlines
  • Provide financial input and analysis for Risk Panel papers for SLT consideration.
  • Development of new pricing models
  • Complete financial spreadsheets as part of tender submissions
