To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Environmental/Technical Sales team.

A&J Waste Services Ltd provides a comprehensive range of construction waste management services and consultancy to help companies fulfil their legal obligations and to comply with environmental regulations.

Our expert field sales teams provide national coverage and tailored services including soil disposal & recycling, site investigation, sampling and analysis, interpretation, and consultancy.

We're looking for an External (Field) Sales Consultant to join our consultancy team working on contaminated land and construction waste and environmental management projects across a range of sectors.

Typical activities for the role include:

• Acquiring new potential business opportunities for A&J, across various sites.
• Liaising with waste facilities for waste disposal options.
• Lead generation garnering a strong knowledge of upcoming opportunities in the region.
• Updating CRM system to record leads.
• Liaising with Internal Sales to secure quotations for prospective clients.
• Cultivating and maintaining strong business relationships.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

• Educated to A Level standard or above.
• Good communication skills and a strong customerfocused engagement style.
• Excellent Excel & data handling skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good commercial awareness.

- holding a full UK driving licence.

• Previous experience in a similar role desirable but not essential.
• A proven track record of sales and lead generation.
