The Research Institute for Photography and Advocacy (RIPA) is an exciting new research centre based at University for the Creative Arts (UCA) in Farnham.

UCA has a lively research culture across all the University's creative arts disciplines (Crafts and Design; Fine Art, Photography and Visual Communication; Fashion; Film, Media and Performing Arts; Architecture; Business for the Creative Industries).

RIPA aims to capitalise on the extensive research experience and knowledge within the photography department at UCA and to collaborate with other institutions across the UK and globally to develop new projects, stimulating debate and intensifying scholarly activity in relation to photography and advocacy.


Fast Forward:

Women in Photography is one of the key research projects existing in RIPA at the moment and a number of new projects are in development.

The pro-rated salary for 18.5 hours (2.5 days) per week is £14,904 - £16,604.
