Job description:


Main accountabilities:


  • Manage the helpdesk and shared mailboxes, distribute and action tasks accordingly in line with the process
  • Administer the authority to recruit process, promotions, transfers and terminations to include the preparation and issue of all contractual documents and ensure all personnel and contractual detail are entered into HR systems
  • Liaise with payroll department to provide all new or changes in personal or contractual information
  • Support in the maintenance of all department policies, processes and forms and conduct efficiency reviews
  • Manage and administer required requisitions and invoice receipting
  • Provide support during preparation and implementation for contract renewals, rate reviews, bonus payments, appraisals, healthcare renewal and pension renewal
  • Provide support on training contracts, training bonds, study bonds and all other paperwork relating to the employment of offshore personnel
  • Provide support to ensure HR systems and personal records are kept up to date
  • Manage the TPS portal, ensuring accurate and content maintained
  • Provide support to issue standard monthly reporting and KPI's
  • Manage HR processes to ensure closed out in a timely manner such as probationary period, inductions, pensions, appraisals and study leave
  • Provide support to manage secondment process
  • Manage the Monthly Payroll process
  • Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required in line with the incumbent's skills, knowledge, abilities and personal development opportunities as directed by the HRIS and Support Services Supervisor or OP Manager
  • Planning, Commercial, Administration

Qualifications (professional, technical, academic):


  • CIPD qualification or equivalent (completed or studying towards)

Typical background and experience required:


Essential:

  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • General knowledge and understanding of Human Resource Management principles
  • 23 years HR administration/coordination experience working within the Oil and Gas industry
  • Strong communication focused approach
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, managing several projects and tasks concurrently Ability to work to tight deadlines and be responsible for own time management
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Oracle HR database
  • Experience of working in a similar role
