Arden University is a growing organisation delivering online only and blended study options to students studying towards undergraduate degrees and master's and MBA programmes.

We have study centres in numerous locations across the UK, as well as a centre in Berlin, and a head office based in Coventry.


The Role
This role will require you to work remotely.

Support high levels of student outcomes and satisfaction and contribute to the ongoing currency and development of academic programmes.

Build positive and professional relationships with students, academic teams, and wider teams within the University. Ideally you will have a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one.

In addition, you should preferably hold an undergraduate degree, as well as holding, an appropriate professional qualification and/or a master's degree.

As our teaching is done online, experience of delivering seminars and supporting students in an online learning environment will be important.


Exposure to virtual learning environments, and other online tools to support student learning (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard or similar) would be useful.

You will have both teaching and learning and marking and assessment responsibilities in this role.

You also have experience in teaching students at level 3 and 4 on the following modules:

digital learning and academic practice, principles of mathematics, marketing fundamentals, principles of economics, business accounting and finance and principles of management.

Working Pattern
You will be required to deliver a maximum of 4 seminar sessions online over a 12-week period, per module, from either 9am1-1am, or 12pm - 2pm or 3pm

  • 5pm dependant on the requirements and the specific time zones which will be given to you considering your current location.
Please note, on the days worked, you will deliver teaching with students accessing your class virtually via Zoom.


Your role will also involve supporting students virtually using our VLE and supporting students with any questions or queries they may have.

Full IT support/training is provided online.

Please note, this role is offered on a freelance basis.


As a suitable applicant you will be able to demonstrate you hold a Residence Permit in your country of residence.
