Adult Specialist Support Team Leader - Exeter, United Kingdom - Devon Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Services
Description
We are looking for a Direct Support Team Leader to lead the effective delivery of our trauma-informed support services (including face to face, online and telephone direct support work and group work) to survivors of rape and sexual abuse across Devon and Torbay.
You will be passionate about overseeing a range of services that enable survivors to access timely, effective and accessible services to meet their needs.
You will have the management and leadership experience to support a team of around six highly trained support and group workers located in several offices and remotely at home.
You are committed and compassionate with a deep understanding of the impact of sexual violence, and an understanding of the impact of vicarious trauma and transference for those working in this area, with the ability to support team members around this.
Our direct support services are growing and you will be expected to have your own caseload alongside your management responsibilities.
You will work alongside the EMDR/Children and Young Persons Team Leader and will report to our Head of Service Delivery.
Closing date midnight 15th Jan 2023.
