Our Corporate Functions team is the "enablement engine" of South Pole. Behind the scenes, we provide the business with world-class solutions and best practices that sustain business growth and success. We cover key areas such as Finance, HR, Office Management, Legal, IT, Operations, etc. If you are a smart, ambitious and dynamic professional with a strong passion to make a real difference in the fight against climate change, the below position may be right for you

Main tasks & responsibilities:

Support for processing both the accounts receivables and accounts payables for several entities
Performing journal processing within multiple European entities
Assist with monthend processes
Performing ad hoc tasks, analysis and projects as requested
Assist with the implementation of new group policies and procedures in European entities

Requirements:

Essential

Eager to learn about working in accounting
Highenergy, flexible and responsive work style; ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite and accounting software
Passionate about working in a close and diverse team, but also independently

Desirable

Studying towards an ACA/ACCA qualification
Experience working in a finance function
