Deans Civil Engineering is looking for a Buyer to join our team in Glasgow.


Essential Duties:

• Reviews and inspects incoming and outgoing material for accuracy and quality.
• Reviews and approves purchase orders for accuracy and quality.
• Reviews and approves purchase orders for quantity, price, and delivery.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Keeps records of all purchases, stock, inventory, and costs.
• Maintains stock control of all materials.
• Assists in the selection of materials by evaluating available supplies; locating and purchasing the best materials; securing the best prices on the best quality; developing costeffective strategies to reduce costs; negotiating discounts on products; making recommendations to improve quality of products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills with a customer focused attitude.
• Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude approach to customers, coworkers, supervisors, etc.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision or as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Salary:
£22,822.09-£42,248.54 per year
