Group IT Manager
Central London


£65,000 - £75, % bonus, 5% pension, 25 days holiday, private medical insurance
**We support flexible working options

  • 2/3 days per week homebased is available.**We are an exciting engineering technology business who are going through a very large phase of scaling up over the next two years, as a result of major new contract wins. We have locations across Perth, South Africa and Tanzania.

The role:


To support this scaling, we are looking to appoint a Group IT Manager into a newly created role within the business.

The primary focus for the role is to help improve the technical maturity of the organisation, building rigour, governance, and strong foundationswithin IT on which the business can scale.

This will be done through;

  • Building out IT policies, process, and procedures
  • Implementing strong ITIL service management
  • Implement and manage a 3rd party managed service provision
  • Embed good IT governance using COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology) standards.
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager, IT Service Delivery Manager or similar type role. A key skill will be the ability to translate technical language to a non-technical audience. Other key strengths we are looking for are;

  • Proven experience in IT Service Delivery management
  • Good 3rd party vendor management experience, holding suppliers to account
  • Excellent knowledge of ITIL framework, managing parts or all of an IT Service.
  • Experience of IT Project Management
  • A strong knowledge of IT Governance and COBIT
  • Good general understanding of IT infrastructure and Microsoft Office 365 and mobile device management.


Travel will be limited, if any, but the nature of this role will require flexibility from the post holder as some occasional early starts with certain IT matter will be required given we are a growing international business.
