This is a school caretaker role you will responsible for the entire school from opening till close.

This post is responsible to the Head teacher although the day-today line management of the post holder is delegated to the School Business Manager.

Working Hours: 06:30 - 09:30 and 14:30-17:30

30 hrs per week,

Temporary contract - 7 weeks

Your duties will include:

Daily duties include but not exclusive to;

Opening/closing and securing of shutters around school at the start and end of each day
Keyholder for the doors/shutters.
Checks of emergency lighting, running of taps re: legionella, fire alarm tests, asbestos checks, and the completing of the associated paperwork
Opening and locking of school gates
Checking playground and perimeter safe at the beginning and end of each day, gritting as and when required
First line inspection and reporting any maintenance issues
Litter picking
Taking bins out
Taking in deliveries
