We are currently looking for a Team Leader to work on behalf of the South Tyneside Council in the repairs and maintenance team whilst working closely with the Responsive Repairs Manager.

The Role

  • You will also work closely with a team of Mobile Working Planners, Area Surveyors and Support Officers.
  • As a Team Leader in the Repairs and Maintenance Team you will ensure the team compliance records are kept up to date, order materials and mange the day to day operations of the team
  • Manage a team of construction trades and oversee Health and Safety
  • Manage productivity and performance, deal with customer queries and concerns.
  • Work to a high standard
The Person

  • CSCS Card
  • Driving licence
  • Relevant Team Leading/Supervisory experience working in a construction environment
