They invest in the company and its people to ensure they offerthe latest equipment and tools for diagnosing and resolving faults and breakdowns.

The company now has opportunities for suitably qualified
Workshop Engineers in
Avonmouth, Bristol. The company has recently reviewed its salaries and remuneration package to attract the best qualified individuals into the organisation by offering not just a competitive salary between£23k - £32k that reflects your experience and knowledge but an enviable package of benefits.


Duties
As a Workshop Engineer you will be required to:

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs to a variety of plant and equipment
  • Prepare equipment and machinery for Hire
  • Conduct Pre and Post hire inspections
  • Gain and maintain the skills and knowledge to enable effective maintenance of equipment
  • Maintain a current driving licence
  • Ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered to

Qualifications and experience
As a Workshop Engineer you will have relevant qualifications or be able to demonstrate relevant experience such as;

  • Level 3 Construction Plant maintenance or associated vocational qualification or experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience to prepare equipment for hire and to conduct repairs to machines and equipment
  • Manual handling
  • Current Driving Licence

In addition you will:


  • Be professional and possess excellent customer service skills
  • Have the ability to communicate at various levels, with colleagues and customers
  • Be selfmotivated and positive with an ability to learn new skills,
  • Be organised, have good attention to detail and comprehensive technical knowledge
  • Able to prioritise effectively to schedule work to fit in with deadlines

  • Salary: £23k £32k dependent on qualifications and experience
  • 22 days holiday plus Public Holidays, then additional day for every year after 2 years of service to a maximum of 25 days
