Dietetic Lead - Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Health Services (MHLDS)

Grade:
Band 8A

Hours of work: 18.5hours/week


We are seeking to permanently appoint a highly experienced Dietitian to lead the Dietetics Service in Mental Health & Learning Disabilities.

The role will provide operational management and professional leadership for the Dietetic Service in Royal Cornhill Hospital and professional leadership for the CAMHS Dietitian and the Community Learning Disability Dietitians.

The Dietetic service currently has 11 staff who are a highly experienced, innovative, flexible and supportive team.


Applicants must be a qualified, HCPC registered Dietitian, with significant professional experience in mental health and/or learning disabilities, as well as having a management qualification or equivalent experience.

He / she should be able to demonstrate effective leadership e.g. of teams and projects, have experience of service development and improvement, as well as excellent communication skills.
