Description
Ensure expert knowledge in physiological birth and that practice is evidence based and contemporary, whilst taking account of the womans individual needs and risk factors Be a visible, credible, and confident in all clinical areas Provide expert clinical knowledge and experience of providing midwifery led care for birth within the home Follow midwifery/obstetric guidelines where appropriate and liaise with medical staff in the implementation of client care, reporting and recording any deviations from Trust protocols/guidelines Ensure women requesting care outside local and national recommendations are referred appropriately for additional care planning
