Senior Mechanical Engineer - £55k-£65k - Cambridge - Product Development
My client is a renowned product development company based in Cambridgeshire who develop products for consumer, med-tech, industrial and energy industries.
They're looking for a qualified Mechanical Engineer who is experienced and interested in all aspects ofproduct development, including concept generation, prototyping, test, analysis and manufacture.
Main Duties:
- Product development
- Solve complex engineering problems
- 3D CAD design
- Mechanical analysis
- Design from concept stages through to production
- Prototype & test designs
- Research & development
Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree in relevant engineering discipline
- Strong 3D CAD skills
- Extensive experience in the full product lifecycle
- Strong analytical background
- Industry experience in medical, consumer, biotech & energy is advantageous
- Knowledge of different manufacturing processes and materials
