This is an exciting home-based opportunity for an experienced Lift Engineer with a good knowledge of the Lift discipline to move into a Lift/elevator surveyor role.

This growing lift/elevator engineering and repairs business in Manchester is seeking a fully remote Lift Surveyor, to cover the whole of the UK.

You will be provided with a company van and be responsible for:

Assess a wide range of lifts, seeing what work needs to be repaired and then reporting back to head office on your findings
Ensuring that all client's needs comply with relevant legislation.
Prepare your reports of examination following your inspection.
Carrying out handson inspections of various types of lifts, which may require some physical aspects to the role including working in confined spaces so you must be happy working in a handson environment
This role will cover the whole of the UK so you must be prepared to travel each day
Up to date on your knowledge and understanding of all relevant lift compliance and regulatory rules and procedures that relate to the lift discipline
Able to make well informed decisions.
Happy to travel across the UK, sometimes at short notice.
Able to process documents.
A background in working in lift repairs/maintenance.
Strong customer services skills
A full valid UK driving licence.
