Our client, a highly successful business based in central Norwich, are seeking a part-qualified Management Accountant/Finance Manager to join their business.

This is a fantastic opportunity looking for a varied role with board exposure.

Reporting to the Chief Executive you will manage appropriate, accurate, reliable and timely reporting of financial results and other Management Information to the Senior Management Team, Group Finance Team and the Board, to ensure cash and other financial assetsare appropriately controlled and the highest financial standards are maintained at all times.

You will be a member of the Company's SMT and be close to the heart of decision-making within the business.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Production of timely and accurate Management Accounts
  • Produce quarterly forecasts and annual budgets (including cashflow forecasting)
  • Posting of monthly journals including accruals and prepayments
  • Perform financial analysis and appraisal
  • Meet Group reporting requirements
  • Completion of monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Management of the yearend process and assist in dealing with audit queries
  • Develop controls over the costs of the business to ensure that relevant approvals are obtained before spend is committed
  • Assist the Chief Executive in the development and formulation of business strategy
