MacDermid Graphics Solutions is a supplier of consumable materials used to transfer images on to consumer packaging materials, our products are used to improve print quality and printing productivity.

We produce and market photopolymers through an extensive line of flexographic plates that are used in the consumer packaging and printing industries.

Photopolymers are molecules that change properties upon exposure to light.

Job Purpose:


The purpose of the Production Team Leader is to Supervise manufacturing activities on assigned shifts in order to maintain and improve our manufacturing efficiency and achieve our manufacturing goals and objectives.


Responsibilities:

This role is hands-on and involved.

You will be expected to build relationships with your team members, and supervise all manufacturing personnel on assigned shifts within our production environment.

You will be liaising with other departments within the organisation to ensure our products are manufactured and produced in timely and perfectly.


You will also:

  • Ensure Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) standards are consistently followed.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws are consistently followed.
  • Ensure employees receive proper training, recognition, and treatment to successfully perform their job responsibilities.

Skills:


Whilst we do not expect you to have any formal qualifications, ideally you will have knowledge and experience of manufacturing practices in a high volume production process.


  • Must meet requirements of and be able to perform all job responsibilities of those directly supervised.
