    The NEC Group Contract comprises 5 iconic venues in Birmingham: the NEC, The Vox, Resorts World Arena, Utilita Arena Birmingham & The ICC. Our team provides soft services, including security, stewarding, cleaning, waste management, estates maintenance, and front-of-house support.

    This role is focused at The NEC Venue, supporting the supervisor of the day's cleaning team for exhibitions and live events.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Ensure Cleaning Team Members adhere to Company Standards and Health & Safety Measures, including SSOW & PPE.
    • Maintain exceptional cleaning standards across all areas.
    • Guarantee Company equipment is stored, cleaned, and maintained to the highest standard.
    • Represent the NEC with professionalism, ensuring visitors experience high levels of customer service.
    • Implement safe working practices and ensure accurate reporting and safety processes are followed.
    • Develop and communicate a safe system of work to team members prior to shifts or activities.

    To be Successful:

    • Cleanliness experience in large venues or spaces is desirable.
    • Proven ability to lead teams, motivate, and maintain productivity.
    • Self-motivated attitude, capable of motivating direct reports and colleagues.
    • Effective communication skills at all levels.
    • Strong attention to detail, upholding exceptional standards.
    • Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
    • Flexibility to meet client demands regarding availability, work hours, including weekends, public holidays, evening work as required.
