Dundee Bairns is a registered charity established to support community projects in areas of high multiple deprivation across Dundee. Our primary aim is to challenge food inequality and tackle child poverty.

We currently run several programmes providing nutritious food and other basic needs to the most vulnerable children in the city.

We are now in the process of expanding our scope of support by initiating a programme to provide basic household essentials to families in need.

This programme requires the establishment of a warehouse facility to manage the receipt, storage, and onward delivery of household items to families in need via a network of external support workers.

We are now seeking to recruit suitably motivated and experienced staff to fulfil the following role.


Warehouse Operatives. Two part-time positions each working 17.5 hours per week**The positions may require some flexibility in working hours to cope with variable support demands.


Requirements - Warehouse Operatives

• Experience in a similar role, ideally in a short turnaround of goods environment
• Clean, valid driving licence and ideally, a Forklift Operator's licence. Forklift Operator training will be provided if necessary
• Strong work ethic, selfmotivation, and ability to adapt to fast changing work demands
• Good standard of physical fitness for manual handling tasks etc.

  £11,500 per year
