LEGAL ASSISTANT, PRIVATE CLIENT - Trusts Team

Kidderminster office


We've got a new vacancy for a Legal Assistant working within our Trust Team in Kidderminster, which is part of our Private Client Division, one of the largest in the firm.


You may be an experienced administrator or leaving law school wanting a move into the legal sector, with the skillset we need but little experience to date.


You'll assist with the administration of a variety of trust and tax matters, acting as a point of contact for clients and interested parties as appropriate, as well as managing diaries.

Other duties will include maintaining the Trust and Tax registers, completing online registrations, declarations and admissions as well as supporting the preparation of accounts and other documentation.

You'll be organised, methodical and have a keen eye for detail. Sound interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering a high-quality service is key.

The team
Our Private Client division totals nearly 40 fee earners and support staff.

In Kidderminster, you'll be part of a team of 20 that provides a range of services - including LPA's, wills, estate administration, creation of trusts and tax planning - so the ability to work well with others on a variety of matters is crucial.


The team is well recognised in the Legal 500 and continues to prosper having recorded a record financial year last year, growth of the team and taking on high net worth clients and work in all specialist areas of work.

We are looking for someone likeminded who wants to grow with the business and help take the division forward.


The role and opportunity


Assisting with the administration of a variety of trust and tax matters, acting as a point of contact for clients and interested parties as appropriate and managing diaries.

Maintaining the Trust and Tax registers, completing online registrations, declarations and submissions, and supporting the preparation of accounts and other documentation as well as file management.

About you
You would have gained administration experience within either a busy trust, private client or finance environment. You will have good IT and numerical skills, be organised, methodical, and have a keen eye for detail. Sound interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering high quality service is key.
