Pleased to be working with an ambitious Law Firm with operations in East Anglia that are looking for a 2nd Line Support Technician to join them on a permanent basis.

This role will be based out of the Ipswich office and will require you to work full-time onsite.

You'll be joining the Service Desk Team within a wider IT Team which is responsible for all aspects of IT across the business covering, User Support, Infrastructure, Network, Security, Data and Development.


Responsible for the following:

  • IT Support and Hardware Deployment
  • Progression of 2nd Line tickets passed through from 1st Line
  • Troubleshoot
  • Working to agreed Service Desk processes using ITIL best practices
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure things are dealt with in a friendly/timely manner
  • Able to break down technical jargon to nontechnical staff members
You'll have previous experience working within an IT Service Desk Team with knowledge around:

  • Active Directory
  • Office 2016, 19, O36
  • Legal software will be beneficial but not essential iManage, Aderant, Bighand, etc.
  • ITIL Foundation
  • CompTIA A+
  • Strong IT Troubleshooting skills
  • Selfmotivated
  • Excellent team player.
