We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our small friendly team.

As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and according to safety guidelines.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in various weather conditions.


Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of construction sites by cleaning debris and removing obstacles
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate hand and power tools as directed
• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact soil
• Assist with the installation of construction materials such as pipes, concrete, and steel
• Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team member
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety guidelines

Some experience is preferred with the opportunity to develop plumbing and gas skills.

£8.50-£13.75 per hour
