This beautiful purpose-built nursery, rated Good by Ofsted (March 2022), is set within a converted barn complex, boasting fully air-conditioned rooms, an all-weather outdoor play area and onsite forest school facilities, overlooking a picturesque landscape.

Footsteps Fazeley Nursery & Pre-School is open from 7.30am - 6:30pm and we require our staff to be able to work varied shift patterns between those times, 40 hours per week.


Responsibilities:


  • The care and supervision of the children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs.
  • Working with the Early Years Practitioners on planning and preparation of activities, to meet children's individual needs, liaising with parents and negotiating working targets ensuring effective communication within the nursery.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times.
  • Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • Assist with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Observe and support children's development, update the EyLog system and children's learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt
  • Take part in delivering the highest standards of care throughout the nursery

  • Ability to work shifts between pm Monday to Friday working 40 hours per week
