Do you have what it takes?
THE GIG To lead a HR Operations team of HR Advisors and HR Administrators, to provide high standards of support for the entire employee lifecycle within the HR function and for our employees.

As our UK/EU HR Operations Manager, you will beresponsible for:


  • Leading, developing and coaching the HR Operations Team, ensuring the highest standard of support are provided to the business
  • Building the capabilities of the HR Operations Team, their performance and development
  • Driving team performance by developing, delivering, and monitoring key service level agreements across the department
  • Building and implementing a plan to instil a customer centric mind set in the team
  • Supporting the HR Operations team by managing escalations as and when they arise
  • Creating and delivering the roadmap for continuous improvement across the HR Operations function, whilst encouraging contributions from team members to provide ideas and input
  • Owning the plan for the development of our HR practices and processes (e.g., Rulebook), working in collaboration with the wider HR function with a strong focus on compliance
  • Creating and owning the framework for driving consistency in ways of working across multiple countries, whilst recognising when this needs to flex to meet the needs of the business; whilst respecting local cultures and legislative differences
  • Partnering with the UK/EU Payroll Manager; ensuring the HR Operations team work collaboratively with the payroll team and aligning the two areas
  • Partnering with the HR Leads and wider HR team in the delivery of HR projects, such as pay review support, data required for our employee engagement survey and deployment into new territories; ensuring the needs of the business and local HR teams in linewith compliance are met
  • Stakeholder engagement with the HRIS team, ensuring the data in our HRIS system is maintained and that we are maximising the functionality within the tools that we must create efficiencies, drive automation and performance
  • Produce analysis and insights using HR management information, engaging with the Reward team
  • Wider business stakeholder engagement, such as working with Legal to ensure Data protection and policies are up to date

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Put simply, for this role the key things we're looking for are:


  • Demonstrable UK and EU HR experience, CIPD qualified
  • Must have experience working with the HRIS system Ceridian Dayforce
  • You are happy working at pace and balancing multiple priorities, with a proactive mindset, you're able to think big picture, piece together information from multiple sources and to plan strategically.
  • You are professional and lead the way in your field, with extensive knowledge of HR from an operational level and working knowledge of HRIS systems
  • You are a great leader, with a passion for driving high performing global teams, consistently looking at coaching and development requirements to enable successful and happy teams. Sharing information and supporting the growth and development of othersin your team.
  • You are a confident communicator, resilient, adaptable, and have the confidence and credibility to challenge or influence when necessary.
  • You can build relationships quickly and have a high degree of empathy and curiosity, with a strong customer focus; ensuring the HR department is seen as approachable, responsive, supportive, and reliable
  • You are a team player. Using your expertise and knowledge collaborate and influence other leaders across region, country or function whilst playing to everyone's strengths.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy changeable environments and able to identify continuous improvement and streamline processes.
  • Languages would be advantageous
