Are you a proactive, highly organised and confident individual with a proven record of providing efficient and effective administrative support? If so, St Giles Trust is looking for a
Volunteer SOS+ Coordinator to provide a high-quality administrative service to our SOS+ Service, ensuring data is recorded, evaluations are sent, and key documents are kept up to date, plus help to support with the coordination of SOS+ projects across London/South.

Giles' SOS+ Service delivers early intervention work in educational settings, through one-to-one mentoring and preventative sessions on violence, vulnerability and exploitation.

We work with young people in a variety of settings, including schools, Pupil Referral Units, Community Centres and Youth Offending Services and its mission is to prevent children and young people becoming involved in gangs and youth violence by equipping them with tools, knowledge and support delivered by experts with lived experience.


About this key role
We will also count on you to ensure all data from sessions delivered are collated and reflected properly in the monthly performance reports and to assist with the evaluation of the project, including sending pre
- and post-evaluation/feedback forms to educational provisions and service users. Liaising with partners and funders, gathering information where required, and explaining what the SOS+ service offers is also among your key duties.


What we are looking for

  • Experience of working with vulnerable young people and adults and an ability to demonstrate knowledge and awareness of the issues faced by our client group
  • Knowledge of the issues facing this client group
  • Sound experience using Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs, or similar programmes
  • The ability to carry out the role remotely and autonomously, and complete tasks promptly and efficiently
  • Able to collect / monitor data and outcomes, utilising information recording spreadsheets and databases
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A flexible, proactive and professional approach to your work.
