Job Description:
As a member of our South West and Wales Assurance team, it is important to us that you have a determination to learn and succeed, build sustainable and trusting relationships with our clients, possess the enthusiasm and tenacity to solve commercial challenges and achieve your talent.
- Undertake detailed client systems and process reviews to highlight risks and areas for improvement.
- Independently verify client costs to source documentation.
- Review client compliance with contractual terms to ensure that costs are properly and actually incurred.
- Identify trends and patterns in cost data and generate insightful analysis for client decision making.
- Contribute to bid activity across multiple sectors including Transport, Power, Utilities and Defence.
Qualifications:
Your previous experience or a comprehensive understanding of the following will be a distinct advantage to our future relationship:
- Specific financial and / or commercial experience or gained via general business management / consulting achievements.
- Ability to analyse and draw insight from large quantities of complex cost data.
- Managing variable workload across a suite of different clients with different needs and cultures.
- Skill to present, either in a documented or verbal way, clear and compelling outcomes to a range of clients with differing expectations.
- Ability to disseminate contractual requirements into understandable client language and meaningful outcomes.
- Fit into and be collaborative within our North as well as national Cost Assurance structure.
Qualifications
- Extensive number of years of relevant public and / or private sector experience.
- Highly effective in the use of Microsoft Office.
