Description

  • People's Partnership have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Technical Support Adviser.

Main Purpose:


To provide mostly internal and some customer technical support and guidance in relation to People's Partnership products and the surrounding legislation and regulation.

To provide technical support on pension queries to the Customer Services teams and the Business.
To support the business in a technical capacity, including ensuring any changes in regulation/legislation are communicated clearly.
To provide up-to-date guidance, including the production of guides, on technical queries. Support the Business with training of technical information and the production of technical training material.


Skills & Experience:
Essential

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • PC Literate
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Previous experience in a Technical position or experience in a financial services environment
  • A minimum of three financial services qualifications with CII and/or PMI (minimum Level 4 or equivalent)
  • Proactive, 'cando' behaviour and attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communicational skills
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to provide complex information in an easy to understand format
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst achieving defined targets
  • Organised and able to manage own workload
Desirable

  • Previous experience in a Technical position in a financial services environment
  • Experience in responding to complex queries regarding pensions including automatic enrolment
  • Knowledge of People's Partnership products
