Are you a skilled and motivated individual with experience in warehouse operations? Join our close-knit team at Beaumont Fresh Food Services Ltd, a small yet dynamic food wholesaler, primarily supplying fresh fruit and vegetables to the catering industry.

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to play a crucial role in the efficient functioning of our warehouse.

Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Loading and Unloading:Operate a counter balance forklift to efficiently load and unload vehicles. Handle incoming and outgoing produce with precision and care.

Stock Management:Place stock into designated locations within the warehouse.

Implement and maintain a systematic approach to stock rotation.

Warehouse Maintenance:Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times.

Perform routine inspections to identify and address any safety hazards.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a secure working environment.
Ensure tidiness in the yard is maintained, as it is also the responsibility of the Warehouse Operative.

Waste Management:Manage waste disposal using recycling compactors.

Ensure waste is correctly separated and disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar role is preferred.
Valid forklift operator certification is required.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday
4:00 AM start until 11:00 AM finish
