About the role


With over 40 buildings to look after, Edinburgh Airport's Property team are involved with almost every function and business partner on campus.


We're looking for someone to support the team in the effective day-to-day coordination of the property portfolio including carrying out annual inspections, coordination of tenants moving In and out and engaging with tenants on any planned works.

You will help to ensure the business maintains high levels of organisation and all tenants are kept fully informed of projects that may impact them.

There is a huge opportunity for this role to develop and progress within the wider Property department.

What you'll be doing

  • You will get to know the campus well and carry out daily checks, identifying any noncompliant behaviours from business partners
  • Schedule and carry out annual property visits throughout our 140+ leased areas, completing a property report and online tracker
  • Building relationships and liaising with business partners around areas of concern and ensuring these areas are dealt with effectively such as liaising with Engineering colleagues to ensure property repairs or issues are logged
  • Work with airport teams to assist with the management of health and safety compliance across the lettable estate
  • Responsible for the movein and moveout process for all tenanted areas, ensuring all parties are notified and all associated actions completed.
  • Administrative duties including purchase orders, invoices and keeping Property Process Maps uptodate
  • Supporting the team to conduct viewings of vacant space to prospective tenants
  • Responsible for access control to tenanted areas. Door codes, key cupboard organisation and management of associated spread sheets

What we're looking for

  • Competent in the use of IT packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with colleagues and third parties
  • Highly organised with an ability to manage a varied and changing workload
  • Confidence to learn, explore and develop new skills
  • Current UK driving licence
