About this role:


These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
Communications and channel strategy and delivery: in-department

  • Work with local leaders to understand the business area's vision/strategy and jointly define a clear message framework and comms plan that helps bring it to life for local teams
  • Source, edit/write and publish news across channels, and research and create presentations and other materials as needed for and on behalf of the leadership team and key stakeholders
Project communications

  • Lead the development and delivery of communications strategies for projects originating within the function that impact the wider business
  • Source, edit/write and publish news across channels, and research and create presentations and other materials as needed
Comms leadership, insight and feedback

  • Become a trusted, critical friend to local leaders, advising on messaging and delivery and becoming a sounding board for advice — all based on strong insight and data from the business — to effect change
  • Build an excellent network of contacts within the local business area to help identify communications opportunities and potential 'watchout' comms moments, and understand the word on the street
  • Provide communications coaching to senior leaders to help them talk about the right things at the right time in the right way, driving a culture of twoway communications
General internal communications support

  • Work closely with other global teams to identify opportunities for synergies with stories internally and externally
  • Be part of one IC team, understanding the roles and responsibilities of other colleagues and providing support for activities as needed

What will you bring to the table?:

  • Experience working in an internal comms role ideally in a fast-paced, international, and/or tech-focused company
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy and insights into comms activities and take a handson approach
  • Ability to simultaneously manage, coordinate, and execute a number of complex internal communications projects within stringent timelines and budget parameters.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills and an understanding of the cultural and psychological factors that influence people at work
  • Proven experience of working with and advising senior management on communications topics
  • Experience managing and coordinating multicountry communications
  • Strong judgment and a cool head in a crisis
  • Wellorganized with strong project management skills
  • Techsavvy with an interest in discovering and testing new communications tools and channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — including the ability to translate complex business content into simple, engaging content that resonates with our people — and a commitment to high standards when evaluating the written work of others
  • A great listener, sounding board, and adviser to others at all levels across the business
