Trainee Composite Boat Builders needed to join the team at
Vantage Composites.
With several months of orders, we are expanding the team.
We build composite boats and components from carbon fibre and epoxy. Resin infusion, pre-preg and hand layup.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with/can:
Arrive on time and be reliable.
A commitment to
quality and continuous improvement.
A strong work ethic including motivated, committed,
meticulous, reliable, proactive and adaptable behaviours.
You will be learning to build carbon fibre composite boats and components. This involves the use of hand tool and power tools. The manufacturing of moulds, the lay up of carbon cloth and the use of resins.
We build custom boats and parts where no two weeks are the same. This makes for an interesting mixture of work.
A trial period will need to be completed.
Rate is £9-10 per hour self employed.
We work from 7:30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
