Senior Credit Controller:

Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join our Finance team at Cambridge Education Group

The role is on a full-time, permanent basis with the location set in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

We operate under a Hybrid Working schedule - with the possibility to work 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.


The primary role is to support the "business unit" credit control team, debt reporting, team training and to ensure all sales ledger functions are carried out accurately and in a timely manner.

The role will also be responsible for reconciliation of control accounts.


Key responsibilities:


  • Responsible for refunds and reporting of refunds for the group.
  • Responsible for the daily banking and reconciliation of the business unit bank accounts.
  • Ensure effective procedures are in place for cash collection and proactively review and improve.
  • Answer queries from agents and fee payers regarding student accounts.
  • Perform various accounting reconciliations and analysis as befits a controlled accounting environment.

  • Experienced Credit Controller
  • Proven Track Record of reducing debt
  • Demonstrates a capability to balance competing demands
