Temporary HR Administrator role available

  • Assists with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties

About Our Client:

A well known not for profit and charities


The key responsibilities of the HR Administrator will be to:

  • Process all administration in respect of starters, contract changes and leavers on the HR database
  • Contribute to the development and streamlining of efficient administration processes
  • Correspond with employees and maintain up to date hard and soft copy files in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations
  • Liaise with payroll over all authorised changes in accordance with agreed processes and deadlines
  • Support the recruitment process from placing adverts to setting up interviews, as required
  • Draft offer letters and contracts of employment
  • Ensure all preemployment checks, including DBS checks, are satisfactorily completed
  • Monitor completion of probationary process and the performance review cycle
  • Maintain the Skills for Care National Minimum data set (NMDS)
  • Respond to requests for references
  • Take minutes at key meetings
  • Assist in the coordination of L&D activities and processes
  • Organise the employee induction process for new starters
  • Administer and monitor the booking of employees on the appropriate eLearning systems for induction and refresher trainingManage the administration of SelectHR, ensuring employee records are accurate and up to date
  • Manage posts within SelectHR in line with organisational structure, creating and archiving posts as directed including any change in management reporting lines
  • Support and monitor selfservice activity for absence and holidays and manage the database accordingly
  • Run reports as required

The Successful Applicant:


The successful HR Administrator will have:

  • Previous Experience within a similar role in HR or have a strong administrative background
  • Have a High level of attention to details with a quick pace for creating documents and data entry with strong level of accuracy
  • Ability to work as a team and autonomously as required resourceful and proactive in finding solutions.
  • Be Proactive, ambitious and eager to learn, you will be confident and want to succeed
- be a strong and effective communicator, written and verbal
