CNC Operator - Glossop, United Kingdom - Kinetic Customs

Description

We are keen to give someone eager to learn about engineering the opportunity to work in a fast paced and close knit workshop in Glossop.

Experience is not necessary just a willingness and desire to learn


Responsibilities inc (but not limited to):

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and cutting
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Previous experience operating CNC machines is preferred
• Previous experience in a workshop environment is preferred
• Familiarity with assembling and using hand tools
• Knowledge of tooling and materials handling
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machines

From £11.44 per hour
