Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibility also to develop business in London and other nonUS markets
Authorizing of quotes, binders and invoices in accordance with own authority and company guidelines
Corresponding with brokers with respect to outstanding information pursuant to binding
Ensuring receipt of and review of outstanding information (including underlying/followed policies) to ensure consistency with the terms and conditions agreed at binding
Maintenance of underwriting files in an orderly manner and in accordance with the underwriting guidelines
Service submission flow
Help manage the increased renewal base for 201
Help prepare for and attend the increased number of client meetings that come from increased policy count
Develop new target sectors
Develop new distribution channels
Assist with the frequent broker requests to update suites of wordings
Attend client/broker meetings, lunches, dinners and other social outings as applicable

Qualifications

Ideally would hold a professional Insurance designation or at least be working towards such
Experience between 1 and 3 years in the London FI Market
Basic knowledge and understanding of market policy and endorsement wordings
Must be articulate and personable as there will be significant dealings with clients and brokers including attendance and presentations at meetings
Basic marketing, negotiation and presentation skills but with a clear aptitude to develop such
Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize work
