Full-time (36 hours per week) Area Facilities Manager North contract to start ASAP.

Monday to Friday

09:00-17:00

What is the Job?

  • Oversee and ensure proactive operational and tactical management of Hard and Soft services to region through the FM supply chain partner, providing both commercial and operational supplier management of the FM supplier to meet contracted performance outputs.
  • Responsible for the FM supplier performance management from day to day issue resolution at specific sites through to strategic reviews.
  • Organise the delivery of planned and reactive services thus ensuring compliance with health and safety, business resilience and fit for purpose accommodation.
  • Manage the demand challenge and the validation/authorisation of any reactive / project spend associated with service delivery.
  • Ensure the prompt management and resolution of any escalations or complaints from customers or supply chain, including request for additional spend, elective new works, changes to scope or specification.
What are the requirements?

  • Experience of managing Clientside Regional FM service provision by a mixture of both inhouse and external FM supply models in the UK including the framework, governance, commercial management of contracts required for effective delivery.
  • Track record of providing FM management & technical assurance
  • Liaise with stakeholders to manage the end to end budget process for properties
  • Thorough understanding of statutory HSEQ requirements
  • Quality management skills, and having managed a service delivery/support function to deliver improvements in service quality to customers and users.
  • Evidence of managing and working in a multidisciplinary property or estates team carrying out a mix of differing functions and services
