The Role:


We are looking for a
Manager to join our to join our vibrant and committed Central Adviser Hub on a
Permanentcontract.


The Central Adviser Hub Manager will work as part of the Migrant Help Asylum Services team, part of the
Advice, Issue Reporting and Eligibility (AIRE)contract, and oversee the operation of the
Central Advisor Hub with a team of approximately twenty-five people, who are all based remotely - Senior Client Advisors and Client Advisors.


You will be responsible for the team's performance and quality standard to ensure an effective and efficient delivery of service which operates across seven days of the week.


They will maintain and develop excellent working relationships and procedures to improve the quality of the service provided to the Migrant Help teams, the Home Office, Accommodation Partners, voluntary sector partners and local stakeholder groups, statutory bodies, and strategic partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee the daytoday operations within the multichannel and multiwork stream of the Central Advisor Hub
  • Work closely with the Head of Regional Services and Relationships, to support their strategic objectives and deputise in their place when needed
  • Responsible for people related functions, such as recruitment, inductions, employee development, appraisal and supervision, absence monitoring, disciplinary and conflict resolution and training needs, supporting in the creation if tailored training plans and implanting training plans for all new recruits
  • Facilitate team meetings including daily briefings to ensure that team members are up to date on matters that effect the delivery of service, such as policy and legislation changes
  • Provide continuous insight to line manager on any changes in trends and the impact on client service delivery
  • Work strategically, forecasting, and future planning to enable you to plan and overcome challenges within team because of changes in demand
  • Manage the performance of the team against KPIs through use of MI and data
  • Review and assure the KPI data and its quality ahead of submissions each month, addressing trends and ensuring corrective actions taken
  • Monitor and forecast demand and create plans that ensure availability of adequate service provision
  • Ensure that a professional, excellent quality and courteous service is provided internally and externally by all staff within your scope of responsibility
  • Monitor contractual requirements and KPIs within your scope of responsibility
  • To cover for other operational roles at an equivalent level, as required e.g., other Managers across regional operations
