Job Title:
Fabric & Multiskilled Engineer at KDE Ltd

Job Summary:

A skilled and versatile Engineer to be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry, painting, and other general building maintenance and repair work, minor electrical, minor plumbing.

To be able to work in in multiple trades and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively to complete projects on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform basic electrical, basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other general building maintenance and repair work.
Assess work orders and determine the materials and tools required for each job.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on buildings and equipment to identify any issues.
Carry out installations, repairs, and upgrades to fabric of buildings.
Repair and replace doors, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, and roofs as needed.
Perform routine carpentry tasks, such as building shelves and cabinets.
Paint and decorate walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is completed to high quality standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a multitrader, with experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other general building maintenance and repair work.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends if required.

Salary:
£11.26-£18.00 per hour
