Salary:
£50,000-£80,000 basic plus uncapped commission
Our client is a successful, multi-category technology distribution business based in Slough, distributing products to over 30,000 independent retailers and National multi-retailers.
We are supporting in the recruitment of a hands-on Business Development Managerto join the team to establish and develop new retail and other B2B channels, both physical and online, for the companies mobile accessories products and services.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the B2B sales of mobile accessories to medium to large retailers and to manage existing relationships with the goal to maximize further sales opportunities.
This is a fast-paced standalone role whereyou will generate business and it is imperative you are tenacious and a 'go-getter'.
Person Specification*Creativity to actively spot opportunities
*Business acumen to ensure that new opportunities are commercially viable.
*Deal-making skills to be able to successfully negotiate and close opportunities.
*Account management skills to develop further opportunities with partners.
Experience needed:
*Proven experience in business development for a range of products/ services, ideally mobile communications/ electronic-related product categories
*Strong non-food/ technology buyer relationships in the UK retail sector and other B2B channels.
*Excellent commercial acumen - comfortable with financial and operational negotiations.
*Outgoing personality and the capability to communicate on an individual basis as well as in a team environment.
