Actual Salary:
£ £17545 depending on experience.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic SEN Support Teaching Assistant to join our happy and hard-working team.

The position is to work alongside children with a range of special educational needs.


We require someone who:


  • Has experience of working with a range of strategies and resources for pupils working on personalised curriculums; such as now and next boards, task boards and visual aids
  • Is good with children and committed to learning.
  • Is enthusiastic, selfmotivated and able to use initiative.
  • Is committed to team work and has good interpersonal skills.
  • Is organised, efficient and professional.
- caring, understanding and patient.

  • Is a good communicator.
  • Is committed to the highest possible levels of achievement for every child.
  • Is able to work under the direction of the class teacher and AHT Inclusion, but at the same time showing initiative.
  • Is able to have patience and the imagination to help and inspire our children with their learning.
  • Is experienced in working with children, especially those with special educational needs.
  • Is Qualified to at least a NVQ2 (or equivalent) in a childcare or teaching assistant and have Grade C GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and Literacy.
  • Is experienced in delivering and planning Wave 2 and 3 support programmes (desirable).
