We are on the lookout for a Customer Service Co-ordinator to join a well-established company in Wincanton, Somerset.

You will be joining the team to provide a key communication link between customers and production.


What you will do:

  • Costing recipe samples using the access database and excel, and communicating to account managers
  • Creating quotes and sending to customers or accounts mangers
  • Act as the primary contact point for customers for sales order placement and queries regarding production and delivery timing
  • Input accurate sales orders into the system.
  • Chase customers for orders where monthly budgets have not been achieved.
  • Checking invoices against purchase orders daily.
  • Act as the primary internal contact for handling queries relating to exports and imports.
  • Ensure required supplier and customer / product data is current customer EORI numbers, product commodity codes, meursing codes etc.
  • Forward planning for import and export work gather supplier data, documentation for transport, health certs etc.
  • Ensure paperwork is supplied to relevant parties transport / customer / customs etc.
  • Deal with queries from the Trader Support Service (shipments to NI).
  • Coordinate and host vet visits (to ensure timely and accurate completion of Export Health Certificates). Request collection of health certificates from vets when required.
  • Assist sales team and logistics when required with queries from customers concerning export arrangements.
  • Booking transport using the transport schedule

Communication:

  • This role is the key link in the communication of planned and actual customer orders, both internally and with customers.
  • Regular communication with customers to chase expected orders.
  • Communication with Sales Support Manager on customer issues.


We are looking for a motivated person with an excellent work ethic, good attention to detail and a team player.

No qualifications are needed, instead you will need a confident communication style and enjoy helping customers. Full training will be given.

Hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm, 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.
