**Finance Director | VC backed SaaS | 1 st finance hire

Hybrid - Central London + WFH (flexible)

Up to £110k basic + options

Talentedge are exclusively partnering with a VC backed, AI driven SaaS based marketplace which provides services to the healthcare sector on their first finance hire.

In hypergrowth mode, the business has recently expanded into APAC and the USA, in addition to the UK and Asia, with a fifth to be launched in Europe in Q1.

Working closely with an ambitious & impressive CEO / Founder, you will partner on driving business strategy as well as having ownership over the day-to-day finance function.

Scope of role:

Inhouse finance from external 3 rd party accountants
Design and roll out key financial processes and controls ensuring that they are fit for continued international scale
Work closely with the Founder on commercial initiatives including future fund raises, new product launches and geographical expansion
Lead on budgeting, forecasting, planning & analysing financial / nonfinancial KPIs
Board and Investor reporting
Build relationships across teams to enable effective business partnering
Manage the day to day finance function:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Tax work including R&D, VAT and CT returns

Oversee transactional finance

AP / AR / expenses / payroll etc
Implement new technologies for automation purposes
In time build, mentor and lead a finance team

Profile:

Qualified accountant
Handson experience of building a finance function for a high growth technology business (SaaS or marketplace experience is preferred however nonessential)
Happy rolling your sleeves up
Strong commercial acumen & established financial analyst / modeller
Able to represent at board & investor meetings
Xero experience as well as additional automation tools
